1978 Mako Angler 171

Hague, New York

The Mako 17 is part of an over 30-year legacy of Mako building this size and style of boat. A common sight on fishing grounds.

In terms of layout, the boat is open and sticks to the Mako fishing heritage. An open transom design enables walk throughs up to the engine The boat has an insulated cooler, either for food and beverages or for use as a fish-box, and a second box containing a live well with a recess where the fuel filter and water separate reside. The split console design provides easy access to an additional, large storage section.  The standard configuration includes a 4-rod rocket launcher, and room for a small cooler. At the bow, a large casting deck and two step forward molds provide sure footing, combined with a non-skid texture.

This is a fresh water boat.  It has a new engine power head and very low hours.  The design of the hull is efficient.  Trailer included.
